An oasis of tranquillity in the heart of the city: The Westin Hotel Hamburg
You are sure to be impressed by the unique location of The Westin Hotel Hamburg - on one side, the vibrant metropolis of Hamburg, with its inimitable cosmopolitan atmosphere and on the other, the gateway to the world, HafenCity, the cruise ship terminal and the world-famous, historic Speicherstadt warehouse district. You will not find a more centrally located and at the same time exposed hotel.

Arriving by train
It is a mere 1.6 kilometres from the central station to The Westin Hamburg. Taxis are at your disposal day and night at both railway station exits. Alternatively, you can take the metro line U3 to the station Baumwall. From there it is only a few metres to our hotel.
Arriving by car
By car you can reach The Westin Hamburg and the Elbe Philharmonic Hall via the street "Am Dalmannkai" or the Sandtorhafenbrücke bridge.
Arriving by plane
The travel time from Hamburg Airport to HafenCity is approximately 30 minutes by car. Alternatively, you can reach us with the public transport network, using lines S1 toward Ohlsdorf, S1 toward Blankenese and Metrobus 4 toward Marco-Polo-Terrassen.
Transport connection
The city centre, with its numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants and cafés, can be easily reached in just 10 to 15 minutes on foot. With the U-Bahn (metro) station Überseequartier, currently under construction, on the new line U4, and the station Baumwall on the U3 you are well connected to the transport network. A new bus stop is also being erected directly on the street Kaiserkai. If you are seeking something a little more maritime, the port ferry route 62 is being extended so that in the future boats can dock directly on the south side of the Elbe Philharmonic Hall.
In the quayside warehouse a covered taxi stand is planned. Parking and a drop-off area for coaches can be found directly opposite on Sandtorkai.
